FAQ
What is Virgin Hair?
Virgin Hair:
Refers to hair that is completely unprocessed, and intact. To qualify as Virgin Hair, it must meet rigorous standards including: Having not been permed, dyed, coloured, bleached, chemically processed in any way. This also means it comes from a single donor, and all the cuticles are intact, running in the same direction. Usually, it also means that it has not been blow-dried, nor exposed to harsh agents.
What is a Machine Weft?
A Machine Weft is sewn using a special sewing machine specifically designed for stitching wefts. Some stylists are more comfortable working with Machine Wefts rather than hand tied wefts because it allows them to cut and seal the track themselves. Machine Wefts are generally made with the help of a sewing machine especially made for sewing weaves.
Machine made wefts are one continuous track which varies in length based on the length and texture of the hair. Always make sure to apply a high quality hair extension glue to seal the ends when they are cut. If the ends are not glued properly, shedding may occur. Machine Wefts will not unravel when cut, if sealed properly.
Our Machine Wefts come in one long track, which a stylist will usually have to cut and seal themselves. We recommend that you consult your stylist if you are unsure about which type of weft to purchase.
What do we mean by bundles?
Hair bundles are what our hair extensions are packaged in. Each bundle weights 100-110 grams and we recommend 3-4 of these for a standard full head. The bundle is rolled up and tied up with our label.
What does our Virgin Hair have to be pre-ordered? (Mongolian, Cambodian, Deep Wave Textures, and Lace Pieces)
Our Virgin Mongolian, Cambodian, Deep Wave Textures, and Lace Pieces have to be pre-ordered because they are all custom made. Our Mongolian and Cambodian hair are very rare so we only stock via orders we receive from customers after a full payment has been made. They have been made on the spot when your order has been placed as this also ensures quality. Our Lace Pieces are also made when ordered as every customers preference is different, hence the reason we don't stock them.
